Use cover sheets

Cover sheets are customizable report front-page templates that use tokens to auto-populate calculation values. Templates are managed in the Component Library and attached to reports from within the Results view. Access cover sheets through the Component Library.

HASS Cover Sheets (default)

Default cover sheet templates include token references. Default templates are read-only but can be copied or exported.

My Cover Sheets

User cover sheet templates support the following actions: share, export, edit, copy, delete, foldering, and move.

Create, import, and edit

Create — Select + New Cover Sheet Template to create a new template. Edit mode supports rich text formatting, token insertion, and image insertion.

Import — Import legacy and HASS Cloud cover sheet formats: .mcs, .con, .cov, .json, and .hcsheet.json.

Edit — Open any user template to edit its rich text content, tokens, and images.

Attach a cover sheet to a report

Open Results -> Report, select Attach Cover Sheet, choose template source, and attach.

Once attached, the following actions are available:

  • Edit — edit the attached copy. Changes apply only to this attached instance, not the library template.
  • Replace — swap the attached cover sheet for a different template.
  • Remove — detach the cover sheet from this report.
  • Save to Library — save the edited attached copy back to My Cover Sheets.
