Quick start guide

Use this workflow to move from a new project to validated results and a final report in the shortest path.

Start Project
  1. Open the target folder in the file system.
  2. Select New Calculation.

  3. Enter project basics and select Create.

Set Properties
  1. Open Project Properties.
  2. Set Pipe Table, configuration ranges, and units. Select Save Changes.

Input Data
  1. Enter source, node, and pipe data in the Data Input Tables.
  2. Use convert actions as needed for sprinklers, hose streams, pumps, PRV, and FPLD.

Run Calculation
  1. Open Calculation from the toolbar.
  2. Set calculation criteria and select Calculate.

Review Results
  1. Review key modules in the Results Dashboard.
  2. Edit and Recalculate if needed.

Warning

Editing inputs after a calculation does not refresh the results dashboard. Select Recalculate to update results before exporting a report.

Export Report
  1. Open the report from Results.
  2. Print/export PDF.
